One dollar buys one place on a public board. This page says what that means, what it doesn't, and what can be taken away.

Last updated 3 September 2026. By paying you accept these terms as they read at that moment.
One place on the board at payonebuck.lol, shown with the buck number you were given, the time you paid, and one emoji drawn for you at the moment of payment. Your name and one link, both of which you enter before paying.
That is the whole of it. There is no product, no file, no service and no account. Nothing is shipped, nothing is unlocked, and nothing arrives later.
The board is run by the operator named in the imprint, but the sale is made through Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Dodo Payments is the seller on your receipt and the party that charges you, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. Everything about the listing — what goes on the board, how long it stays, and how it comes down — is governed by the terms on this page.
US$1.00 per place, once. Not a subscription and not a deposit.
Local sales tax or VAT is added on top of that dollar, at the rate for the country you are buying from, and the full amount is shown before you pay. In Germany, for example, a place costs US$1.00 plus 19% VAT, so US$1.19. Your bank may add its own currency conversion or foreign-transaction fee on top of that, which is between you and them.
Payment is taken by Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record for this site: it is the seller named on your receipt, it charges you, and it collects and remits the tax. Card details go to Dodo Payments and never touch this site — see the privacy page.
The emoji, its rarity, and therefore your rank are decided by a draw made from your payment's identifier at the moment you pay. It cannot be rerolled, refreshed, bought up, or appealed, and no amount of money changes it. The published odds in the legend are the real ones.
This is a novelty, not a game of chance for a prize: nothing of value can be won, and no payout of any kind exists.
The board sells 1,000,000 places and then stops. Places are sold in the order payments complete. When they are gone, the button stops working.
If your payment happens to land in the seconds after the last place is taken, you are not listed and your dollar is refunded automatically. That is the only automatic refund on this site.
Once you are on the board, the dollar is spent. Not liking your emoji, your rank, your neighbours, or the whole idea is not a refund. Neither is having your link dropped for breaking the rules — you keep the place, which is what the dollar bought.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Your place appears on the board immediately, so by paying you ask for the service to begin at once and accept that your right of withdrawal ends once it has been performed in full — which, here, is seconds after you pay.
The name and link are yours to choose and yours to answer for. By submitting them you confirm you have the right to use them, and that they are not illegal, not somebody else's identity, not malware, and not any of the things the rules already exclude.
Everything you type here is public and permanent. It can be read by anyone, indexed by search engines, and copied by people who are not us. Do not put anything on the board that you would mind seeing again in five years.
A listing can be removed — with or without notice, and without a refund — if it is illegal, impersonates somebody, points at malware or fraud, is used for abuse or spam, or has to come down because a court, a regulator or the host says so.
You can ask for your own listing to be removed at any time by writing to contact@payonebuck.lol. Removing it does not bring the dollar back, and the buck number is not reissued.
Every link on the board was put there by whoever paid that buck. They are filtered, not vetted: a link that passed the rules today can point somewhere else tomorrow. Nothing on the board is an endorsement, and following a link is your own decision.
No promise is made that the board stays online, stays fast, stays correct, or stays at all. It can break, lose data, be taken down, or simply end. If it ends, the listing ends with it and no refunds follow.
To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you actually paid — one dollar. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death, personal injury, or fraud; if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched.
These terms can change. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to that payment, so it is worth reading before rather than after.
Governed by German law, with the courts of Cologne having jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
